These is everything you could wish for-natural wooden Alpine decor, interior and exterior.
The welcome upon arrival is a dream, like one no longer finds elsewhere.

The cuisine is on a level with France's leading Michelin starred restaurants. Marc Veyrat has a successor in the Haute-Savoie !

I shall not describe the spot - the elegance of the place commands discretion. I shall not speak of the other guests - everything should be a surprise and quelle surprise !

It is not that the cuisine is worth the detour but rather it is worth planning one's trip around this address.

The prices ... such quality cannot be for free however in the light of the prices practised in a similar category of leading chain hotels this is not expensive.

It has been classified by the organisrs of the future Olympic games in Annecy as one of the three addresses reserved for guests of honour. - kings, queens, princes, princesses, presidents.

Out of the three places reserved by the games' organisers for guests requiring ultimate luxury, Philippe owns two.

Philippe, the master of th establishment is also its's architect, decorator, receptionist ... The former star from the world of french cinema and its festivals is omnipresent, but with the ulmost discretion, appearing only when needed.

The only indication I will give - do not expect a high rise Hilton style building, but rather individual small chalets dismanteled from the mountain pastures and reassembled on the slopes of Philippe's hamlet with talent and good taste.

I will cease my eulogistic monologue of praise such as I know Philippe would prefer. He has remained a humble man who is well aware that one's reputation is forged by had work and destroyed by pride.

Thank you Philippe and your team for the magnificient weekend we spent with you. Our meeting has been a rare moment in a man's life.
